About Tony Sargent:

Starting his real estate career in 1999 after 13 years in finance and then as an executive in the music industry, in 1999, Tony decided to focus on residential real estate for one primary reason – the people and his desire to advise people through transitions in their lives that caused them to buy and sell real estate.

Raised internationally in Europe and Africa as the son of a marketing executive in a large multi-national pharmaceutical company, helped Tony hone his sixth sense of how to best communicate and understand people from every walk of life and culture. Whether he’s staging a luxury property and working with a CEO or high net worth individual or smoothing issues with building management – his respectful professionalism wins him praises from all that meet and work with him.

Known for being able to navigate negotiations through challenging situations, his close business connections with the best Manhattan attorneys, mortgage brokers and building managers ensures that his client’s deals are handled smoothly and successfully.

Unique to find in a broker, he’s both financially savvy and also known for his creative staging which has delivered hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional dollars at sellers closing tables, for his clients.

After almost 7 years working at a boutique luxury firm, Tony moved recently to Compass in New York. Excited about how the intersection of technology (one of his passions) and real estate will benefit his clients and all Compass is doing to be at the leader for our clients and brokers with tools and information to benefit his clients’ transactions inspired his move.

The Sargent Report, recently on hiatus shall return in a new format in the near future.
